Thinking Listening Speaking

God loved us so that we, in turn, could love others.

Thoughts, Prayers, and other things.

All for His Glory

Thank You, I love You

Today I went for a run. haha, at least that was the intention. At first it was more like a walk, trying to run a little bit but not having the endurance to keep going. So I settled for walking.

I was listening to a podcast by Jon Courson about God’s mercy. How there is wrath for sin, but instead of me taking the punishment for my sin, God puts the burden on Jesus. Jesus, The Son of God, innocent and pure who did nothing wrong, had to suffer because of me. That’s hard to hear, because I didn’t do anything to deserve His love or His mercy. I am not worthy of this…by any means. But yet He loves me so much! Enough to send His one and only son to die on a cross so that I may be saved, so that I may some day be with Him in heaven. For that, I am eternally grateful.

I finished the podcast and meanwhile had found a nature trail that looked over a valley with houses in the distance and clouds in the sky. I sat down and just praised God and prayed and gave EVERYTHING over to him.

Then these two older guys came walking by, one was satisfied by the beauty of nature and confident in his steps, and his friend was nervous. haha, afraid of falling into the valley I’m sure. Lord, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear NO evil for I know you are with me.

Then I started back home. I started running and past by this dog barking behind his wall, only his head and paws showing. Now, I had seen this dog before on a walk 3 weeks ago. Except the last time I saw him, I went up to him and try to pet him even though he had already barked at me. And he almost bit me. This time…he was barking and I looked at him and kept running. I ran all the way back home. :)
